An office that stays warm
The shell is 80 mm PIR insulated steel panel — the construction commercial buildings use — with a pine-lined interior. It holds its temperature through a January workday and a July afternoon alike.
A studio with the good light
The glazed gable end is the whole of one wall. North-facing it's painters' light; south-facing it's a greenhouse of a reading room. Either way, it's the feature everyone comments on.
Nothing on your weekend list
Steel doesn't rot, warp or need re-staining. The powder-coated shell that arrives is the one you'll have in ten years — washing it down is the entire maintenance schedule.

Is it wired?
The cabin is supplied as an insulated shell — glazing and door included, wiring not. For an office you’ll want an electrician to run an armoured cable from the house and fit sockets; it’s routine work on a building like this. If you’d like services included, ask when you enquire and we’ll price it.
Do I need planning?
Often not, for a day-use garden room within the usual limits — and usually yes if anyone will sleep in it. The ridge is 2.8 m, which matters for where you site it. The planning guide covers it.
What does it cost?
£6,000 inc VAT as a kit you assemble (£5,000 ex VAT), or £7,500 inc VAT built and craned in — before delivery, in any RAL colour. Full price breakdown.
